INNOFACTOR PrimeTM WWW is suitable for developing individual sites as well as large and comprehensive service packages. Multiple sites on multiple servers can be efficiently administered in many different languages in a decentralized manner. INNOFACTOR PrimeTM WWW or its components can be combined and/or mixed with other INNOFACTOR PrimeTM products.
Publishing Internet, extranet and intranet sites
INNOFACTOR PrimeTM WWW can be used to manage all types of site structure and content as well as for publishing sites. Content is handled and presented in an advanced XHTML format, which allows the browsing of published sites with mobile devices and also by special devices employed by people with disabilities. Sites can have navigation paths, site maps, search facilities, and a separate printable text format. Site contents are created and managed via an easy-to-use editor that only requires a basic browser. As well as having basic functions similar to those of word-processing software, the editor can be used to attach multimedia components such as Flash elements.
Picture, multimedia and document boxes
INNOFACTOR PrimeTM WWW has separate boxes for image, multimedia and document files, which can be used to store all types of file. Clearly-defined user rights make documents available to other users in the system, and documents can also be attached to published sites.
Discussion groups
Discussion groups can be linked to open or restricted sites. Functionality includes all the typical requirements for discussion groups such as anonymity strings, the separate administration of strings, protection of strings with a password, and restricting access to strings to a selected group. Moderated strings have also been adopted, in which the posting of messages requires permission from the discussion administrator. The administration of discussion groups has been made as simple as possible.
Questionnaires, surveys and other forms
INNOFACTOR PrimeTM WWW’s form editor enables the creation of any type of questionnaire, survey or other form and includes the possibility of including, for example, correct/incorrect and multiple-choice questions in text form. Forms can be open to anyone or access can be restricted via personal passwords. Answers can be viewed either individually or in groups, or they can be forwarded for handling using a spreadsheet program.
Electronic event calendar and registration management
Electronic registration is especially suitable for organisations that organize a large number of events such as seminars and training courses. Notices concerning events can be published by the organisations on their homepages and people wishing to attend can register directly on the site. All registered persons can then be sent email messages from a central location. Billing and other transactions can also be carried out electronically once registration has been effected.
